Our Regional Centers

Our History

Smith Management Services, LLC DBA EB5 Coast to Coast, also owns and manages a network of regional centers covering 49 states. Regional Centers are integral to the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, requiring approval from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to enable EB-5 investments. These entities actively foster economic expansion and job generation within the United States.

To attain Regional Center status, an organization must submit an I-956 application to USCIS for evaluation. Upon approval, Regional Centers offer a platform for EB-5 investors to pool their capital alongside others, benefiting from the center’s managerial expertise in job creation.

A notable advantage of investing via a Regional Center is the inclusion of all direct, indirect, and induced jobs towards meeting the requisite job creation criteria. In contrast, projects lacking Regional Center sponsorship can only consider direct job creation. As a result, the majority of EB-5 investments in the United States are directed towards Regional Center-backed projects.

Investors opting for Regional Centers engage in passive investment, entrusting the center to handle all USCIS requirements. This arrangement ensures successful attainment of US permanent residency for the investor and their dependent family members.
